Jesse Hraban

Jessaleigh had to wear her purple baby doll carrier because I was wearing Blythe in my purple baby carrier. After she complained about her baby doll (one with eyes that close when you lay it down) not going to sleep she asked me

“why does your baby go to sleep more easily in your carrier”

She cracks me up!

After seeing a new housing construction site a conversation started about “our next house”

Chanler and I were talking about things we wanted for our next house and I said I wanted a house without stairs (meaning one story) Then Jessaleigh pipes up from the back.

“They when they wanted to go up they would have to make a BIG jump.”

Love the mental picture of a house that is two stories but has no stairs…

Jessaleigh got a gift card from her Uncle David for Christmas. She picked out this phone which looks like mommy’s. Within seconds of getting it out of the package and activating the batteries she says “How do I get it to take pictures?”

Let me start out by saying that Jessaleigh has be occasionally using the potty since she was 12 months old. First thing in the morning and when she asked etc. Not a potty training regiment, but just catching what we could.

Well a few weeks ago, just to prove that she is an entirely different child than her brother… Jessaleigh decided that she was done wearing diapers and wanted underwear full time. She was 2 year and 8 months old…

I have to say this isn’t exactly that I had “planned” either for method or timing, but I can’t complain (much.) She has really good at using the potty, but at the same time I have been more paranoid about accidents with her than I was (after the first week) with Chanler. Poor kid has to listen to me ask her about it way to often.
