We celebrated family Mother’s day on Saturday with parents, siblings etc.
That left Sunday for “celebrating” as a family. My perfect Mother’s day involves sleeping in, eating out and getting a pedicure. I am not real big on the “Halmark Holidays” and think that flowers and cards are a waist of money (because they jack up the price around said holidays).

Anyway I didn’t get to sleep in (oh well), then we went to Church, and after I did get to eat out (and even pick the place.) So off to BJ’s Restaurant we went for Scampi Pasta and a Pizookie. The day was looking pretty good at this point! Chanler got a bit antsy waiting for the check so Scott took him out side to run. A few minutes later they came back and Chanler handed me a flower. He had picked me a tiny daisy (i.e. the kind that grow as weeds in the grass) and he gave it to me and said he loved mommy. Melt! It was such a sweet moment!

Although he did ask to hold his flower later in the day.

Over all it was a lovely day.
