We took my family that was visiting from Minnesota site seeing in San Francisco after my brother Steve's wedding, and since I rarely go up to the city myself unless under duress, I took a few pictures.

Together yet distinct

This was an adaptation of a native American wedding ritual, where two containers of sand are poured together to signify the joining of two lives into one.
